Free hook library / Food & Beverage
Food ads are won in the first bite of the script.
Every hook we have written for food and drink, in one place. Free to take and adapt. Taste is the promise you cannot deliver through a phone, so the opening line has to do the work a sample would do in a shop.
How to use one
- Pick the line that matches when your product is actually eaten or poured.
- Anchor it to a habit you are replacing: the morning coffee, the 4pm snack.
- Get the product in frame before the sentence ends. Hunger beats explanation.
- Keep the sound. Pour, crunch and sizzle carry more than any adjective.
- 01I replaced my morning coffee with this for a week. Here's what happened.
- 02Stop buying the expensive one — this tastes identical for half the price.
- 03Three things in my fridge that completely changed how I snack.
- 04The reason your homemade version never tastes like the restaurant.
- 05I brought this to a dinner and got asked for the recipe three times.
- 06Don't microwave this — and the one thing you should do instead.
- 07Here's the 30-second snack I make when I'm too tired to cook.
- 08I thought "healthy" meant boring until I found this in the aisle.
- 09The grocery-store swap that cut my sugar intake in half.
- 10Pour this, not that — the one drink your evenings are missing.
- 11I filmed my fridge before and after this one change. Wild.
What works in food & drink
Swap, don't add
People have finite meals. The strongest food hooks replace something the viewer already buys rather than asking them to add one more thing.
Sound is half the ad
Texture is the sense video can actually deliver. Write hooks that leave room for the pour, the crunch or the seal breaking.
Honest about health
Health claims are regulated and easy to get wrong. Keep hooks to taste, convenience and habit unless the claim is one you can back.
Use these honestly
These are scripted ad openers — the same way any commercial is scripted. They are written to be adapted to something true about your product, not to invent something that isn't.
Keep them clean: don't bolt on fabricated numbers, invented review counts, fake scarcity, or results you can't stand behind. A hook earns the next three seconds. Your product has to earn the rest. That's the same rule we hold ourselves to — every frame we deliver is AI-generated and disclosed as such.
