Free hook library / Perfume & Oud
Hooks for selling scent through a screen.
Every hook we have written for fragrance, in one place. Free to take and adapt. Perfume is the hardest category to advertise on video, because the one thing a buyer wants is the one thing the camera cannot show. So the opening line has to carry it.
How to use one
- Pick the line that matches the moment your scent is actually worn.
- Name the setting, not the notes. A majlis beats a fragrance pyramid.
- Say it while the bottle is already in frame, not after a slow reveal.
- Let a reaction do the proving. Someone noticing beats you describing.
- 01One spray and my whole majlis smelled like this for hours.
- 02Stop buying oud before you check where it actually came from.
- 03The reason your perfume disappears by noon — and the fix the Gulf has always known.
- 04Three stuffed dates in my fridge that turned dessert into an event.
- 05Everyone at the gathering asked what I was wearing. Here it is.
- 06I layered this over the bakhoor and the room went quiet.
- 07Don't pay boutique prices for oud until you read this.
- 08Here's the attar trick that lasts from fajr all the way to midnight.
- 09The gift box that made me look like I'd spent triple on it.
- 10Two sprays, not five — the mistake that quietly ruins expensive oud.
- 11I wore this to a wedding and three people asked for the name before dessert.
What works in fragrance
Borrow a sense
The camera cannot smell. Reach for what it can show instead: a room going quiet, a head turning, a scarf lifted at a gathering.
Longevity is the argument
Most fragrance complaints are about a scent fading. A hook built on how long it lasts speaks to the objection buyers already have.
Respect the buyer
Gulf fragrance buyers know oud. Vague luxury language reads as bluff. Specifics about origin, layering or wear time earn attention.
Use these honestly
These are scripted ad openers — the same way any commercial is scripted. They are written to be adapted to something true about your product, not to invent something that isn't.
Keep them clean: don't bolt on fabricated numbers, invented review counts, fake scarcity, or results you can't stand behind. A hook earns the next three seconds. Your product has to earn the rest. That's the same rule we hold ourselves to — every frame we deliver is AI-generated and disclosed as such.
